How to connect Webtrends to Klipfolio
Webtrends connects through Basic HTTP Authentication and a REST query. This is a moderate setup — plan for about 10 minutes.
- Open the Connector Gallery in Klipfolio and select Webtrends.
- Authenticate your account. Click the Authentication link, select Basic HTTP, then enter your credentials. Use the format
accountname\usernamefor the username field, and your Webtrends password below that. - Write your query. Use the Webtrends Data Extraction API documentation to build the query URL. Data is available in XML, JSON, HTML, and CSV formats. To retrieve CSV, append
format=csvto your query string. - Enter the query in Klipfolio. Paste the query URL into the REST connector, select the matching data format, and save.
