How to connect Smartsheet to Klipfolio
Klipfolio connects to Smartsheet using an API key. The setup takes four steps.
- Generate your Smartsheet Access Token. In your Smartsheet account, create an access token. You'll use this to authenticate the connection in Klipfolio. See Authentication and Access Tokens in the Smartsheet docs.
- Find your Sheet ID. Open the sheet you want to pull data from. Select the Sheet Actions icon in the left menu, then choose Properties. Copy the Sheet ID.
- Open the Connector Gallery in Klipfolio. Go to Service Connectors and select Smartsheet. Choose a pre-built or custom connection.
- Configure your connection. Enter your API endpoint URL (for example,
https://api.smartsheet.com/2.0/sheets/), set Data Format to Excel, and add your access token as an Authorization header using the format:Bearer <yourAccessToken>. Click Get data, review the results, then save your data source.
